The 2016 Texas 4-H Dog Show will be on July 8-10, 2016 at the Bell County Expo in Belton, Texas.  In preparation for this event, we will need your assistance.  It has become more difficult each year to get judges for the show.  There have also been complaints about various judges over the years.  However, when it becomes a choice of a judge we may not prefer or no judge we are left with few options.  In an effort to expand our options, we are continuing the judge recruitment process.  Any 4-H Dog project member, Project Leader or County Extension Agent may recruit judges for the 2016 Texas 4-H Dog Show, July 8-10, 2016 in Belton, Texas. Many of you are competing in dog shows outside of the 4-H program and have some interaction with experienced judges.  You have seen them in action and have a good idea if they would be appropriate for our event.  In the past we have utilized carded judges as well as high level active exhibitors.  I have attached a Judge Recruitment Packet.  If you could please assist us in recruiting judges.

The Texas 4-H Dog Show registration will soon be open on 4-H Connect.  I will send out another notice when that occurs.
