The date has been set…Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 9am….for the 2nd Annual Ellis County 4-H Open Invitational Archery Tournament in Waxahachie!  It will be held at the Ellis County Youth Expo Center and it is open for any 4-H member, regardless of experience!  Entry fee is $12 and needs to be postmarked by Monday, January 10, 2011 to Amanda Owens.  Concessions will be available. Congratulations to the McLennan County 4-H Livestock Judging Team for earning the title of Reserve Champion National 4-H Livestock Judging Team!  They competed earlier this week at the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky after claiming Champion honors in June at the Texas 4-H Roundup Livestock Judging Contest.  The team was also Reserve Champion in the Cattle Division, Reserve Champion in the Swine Division, and Reserve Champion in the Oral Reasons Division!
