Say, “Cheese!” D8 4-H Photography Contest Results are in….

We had 519 entries this year…just a few more than last year.  Thank you to the counties that sent agents/volunteers to help judge!  We couldn’t have done it without them! As in the past, the photos will be displayed  at the Heart O’ Texas Fair in Waco during the show.  We’re hoping that the display will look even better than it has in recent years with them being printed on the poster printer.  Go check out the display! Congratulations to the 28 high school seniors and 1 collegiate student who have received of 31 scholarships for a total amount of $219,500!  That’s impressive! BUTTON ON! Community Service Project at the District Fashion Show!

Button On! During the District 8 Fashion Show, you can help finish dresses for community service.  Each dress needs its buttons sewn on.  The buttons, thread, and needles will all be available.  So, after you finish your judging interview, help finish a dress. The 25 dresses will be donated to the Waco Family Abuse Center. Additional Community Service Opportunity……..
