After much discussion, it has been decided that the Ft Worth Livestock Show provides the best, highest quality contest for our young people.  It is known for outstanding classes, quality heifers / cows, and very strong officials and reasons takers.  As a result, it has been decided that the the Texas 4-H Dairy Judging Contest will be with the Ft. Worth 4-H and FFA Dairy Judging Contest.  This contest will be Sunday, January 20th, 2013.

This date obviously proceeds some district qualifying contests.  As a result, this contest will be open to ALL teams to participate.  So, there will not be district qualifier for the state 4-H dairy judging contest.  Moreover, the top two senior teams will be the ones that represent Texas 4-H at the two designated National Contests.
