Birds of a feather, flock together…

Grab your 4-H Poultry project friends and “flock together” to have fun and learn about 4-H Show Poultry!  Topics to be covered are:  Intro to 4-H Market Poultry, Housing & Management, Nutrition, Culling & Selection (hands-on!), Necropsy (hands-on), and Biosecurity & Diseases.

Hill, Ellis, and Johnson Counties are hosting a 4-H Show Poultry Workshop on Saturday, December 8, 2012 in Waxahachie at the Ellis County Youth Expo at 2300 W. 287 Bypass.  Here is the flyer for you to print.

Registration will begin at 8:30 am and the workshop will begin at 9:00 am.  Lunch will be served at 12 noon and the workshop will conclude at 3pm.  Cost will be $15 per youth and $20 per adult.
